Northlake has different ways that they seek to minister to Single Adults wanting to connect with Christ and deepen their faith in fellowship with other believers.  Details can be found by visiting each class when they meet to study God’s Word, strengthening their understanding of His plan for their lives.

THE COLLEGE CONNECTION

While many students move away to attend college after graduating from high school, we have some young adults who stay closer to home.  Our collegiate ministry builds on the foundation of a mixed-gender Bible study class each week—Sunday mornings at 9:30 am.   

Far too often, students who finish high school leave the church—some statistics put the number at about 90%!  So, our goal is to keep these young adults committed to the Bible as well as connected to the Body.  The College Connection also meet together for fellowships, game nights, and other group activities.

THE SINGLE PURPOSE

Single Purpose logo (2015)-1Another Single’s Bible study class meets on Sundays at 9:30 am:  The Single Purpose.  This group is comprised of young women in their 20’s and early 30’s—some are single, some are married, some are single mothers…everyone is welcome.  If this sounds like something you would enjoy, drop by for a visit this Sunday!

WOMEN OF THE WORD


the-word-logoNorthlake has one final group of active single ladies meeting for Sunday Morning Bible study at 9:30 am:  Women of the Word.  Some of these ladies (50 & better) are widowed, others are divorced, some may have never been married…but every one enjoys gathering together to engage God’s Word and connect with one another.  They’re an active social group, meeting for fellowships, special events, social activities, and occasional trips throughout the year.  Take time to visit, enjoying their family-feel and spiritual depth—you’ll be glad you did!
