Blanchard Jacobus

Since joining Northlake Baptist Church as members in June of 1987, Blanchard and his wife, Toni, have served this church in multiple ways—including teaching Bible studies, serving as a deacon, leading mission trips, and helping the church engage its community.  After serving sacrificially in a volunteer capacity as Northlake’s Minister of Discipleship, Blanchard officially filled that role as part of our ministerial staff in 2016. He has a passion for teaching and showing others how they can more closely walk with Christ on a daily basis. From writing and recording daily devotions, to developing Bible study programs and teaching regularly, he uses his God -given gifts to encourage others in their walk with Christ.

God has placed each believer in the location and role that will best accomplish His will. It is each believer’s responsibility to submit to the Holy Spirit’s leading so that we can truly walk as children of God. Through prayer, Bible study, and fellowship with the body of Christ, we can work towards looking more like Him.
